South Dakota K–6 physical education standards

South Dakota writes its own physical education standards. They are published as South Dakota Physical Education Standards, adopted 2014 and are not a version of a national framework. 341 of 347 are matched to a national standard.

SHAPE-2014/NASPE-model GLOs (5 standards, S<std>.<E|M><n>.<grade>). Manually extracted from SD DOE’s current adopted PE-Standards-20.pdf (2020 review of the 2014 board-approved SDSPE) via scripts/extract-sd-pe.py; CSP’s Physical Education (2014-) family had drifted numbering + an overlapping grade-band duplicate, so it is excluded via subjectMap and the extractor must be RE-RUN after any re-fetch. One declared code typo corrected: the Std-4 middle-school safety row S4.M7 is misprinted S1.M7 in the PDF (§121).
