Washington K–6 social-emotional learning standards

Washington writes its own social-emotional learning standards. They are published as OSPI WA K-12 Standards, Benchmarks, Indicators Grid 3.12.20, adopted 2019 and are not a version of a national framework. Every one is matched to a national standard.

    Demonstrates awareness of personal and collective identity encompassing strengths, areas for growth, aspirations, and cultural and linguistic assets.

    Demonstrates self-awareness and understanding of external influences, e.g., culture, family, school, and community resources and supports.
