Arkansas K–6 health standards

Arkansas writes its own health standards. They are published as HEALTH & SAFETY AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION STANDARDS, adopted 2019 and are not a version of a national framework. Every one is matched to a national standard.

    I can distinguish different body parts, including main organs of the body, and tell what those parts do.

  • 2.A1K–2

    I can demonstrate a respect of personal space for myself and others.

    I can recognize different emotions and respond to others as needed.
