District of Columbia K–6 social-emotional learning standards

District of Columbia writes its own social-emotional learning standards. They are published as District of Columbia Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Standards, adopted 2024 and are not a version of a national framework. Every one is matched to a national standard.

CSP has no DC SEL family at all, but OSSE does publish discrete coded K-Adult SEL standards (May 2024), so `none` would misrepresent the District. Extracted from OSSE's own PDF. The five-column grade-band grid stranded the first word(s) of 18 wrapped cells in the adjacent band-label sub-column; those openings were recovered by position from that same column and rejoined (REPAIRS map in the extractor, 2026-07-24), and SCA.3-5.7 — which renders as 'SCA 3.5.7' and had folded into SCA.3-5.6 — was split back out. Result is 175 K-6 indicators (K-2 45 / 3-5 65 / 6 65), contiguous in DC's own per-competency numbering with no truncated rows. fetch-state-standards.mjs will NOT regenerate this: after any re-fetch, re-run the extractor.
